Stepping into an unfamiliar church for the first time can be a little intimidating and maybe even a bit overwhelming. When you visit Calvary Baptist Church, you can expect to feel welcomed and accepted. Like most people, you probably have some questions about what your experience at Calvary Baptist Church will be like so we have tried to answer some of them for you.

What will a typical service look like?

Every service at Calvary Baptist Church is designed to bring honor and glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. Each service includes a time of worshiping the Lord through encouraging, biblical songs and a practical, expositional Bible message from the pastor. Each service is approximately 60-90 minutes in length.

Where should I park?

Calvary Baptist Church does not have its own parking lot. As most that live in Frackville do, our attendees park on the sides of the streets surrounding the church. There is a handicap accessible entrance in the rear of the church and limited handicap parking as well for those who are eligible. A map to help you find parking can be found here.

What is available for my children?

Here at Calvary Baptist Church, we love families! During the morning service, a Sunday School class is provided for children age 3 to 4th grade. This class is staffed with friendly and qualified teachers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child. A mother-supervised nursery is available for children 2 years old and under. Families are encouraged to worship and learn together in the main service, so these classes are optional, not mandatory. More information can be found here.

How should I dress?

There is not a dress code at Calvary Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in traditional “Sunday” dress or business casual. However, we want you to feel welcome and comfortable during your visit however you choose to dress.
